This scheme covers reimbursement of Hospitaliztion/Domicilary hospitalization expenses for illness/diseases or injury sustained. In the event of any claim becoming admissible under the scheme, the insurer will pay to the insured person the amount of such expenses as would fall under different needs and as are reasonably and necessarily incurred by or on behalf of such insured person All claims under this policy shall be payable in Indian currency or US Dollar And also all medical treatments for the purpose of this insurance will have to be taken in india or other countrys. Mediclaim insurance policy is for individual/family and for groUp also. The group mediclaim policy will be available to any Group/association/institution/corporate body of more then 50 persons provided it has a central administrative point.In group Insurance different group policies.The group policy will be issued in the name of the Group/association/institution/corporate body(called Insurance)which a schedule of names of the members including his/her eligible family members(called insured persons)forming part of the policy.
